The Millennium Forests : School Program (2000-2002)
Convent NS Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois:
Marian visited the pupils at Convent NS Borris in Ossory, Co. Laois on November 29th 2000 and they planted lots of acorns, which will they are hoping will grow into big, strong oak trees.
As you can see from these photos they had lots of fun planting the acorns and counting the age of a large tree trunk.
