Orla visited the pupils at Our Lady of Mercy N. S., Cahir on the 25th of October 2000. The 4th and 5th class girls went for a very interesting walk, where they saw native trees such as oak, ash and hawthorn and non native species like sycamore, horse chestnut and beech. The school has a great interest in nature and have their own wormery and wildlife garden.
